Brrrrrr. It’s time for frozen hot chocolate.
Ingredients:

6 half-ounce pieces of a variety of your favorite chocolates
2 teaspoons storebought hot chocolate mix
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups ice
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings
Preparation:

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place it in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring occasionally until melted. Add the cocoa and sugar, stirring constantly until thoroughly blended. Remove from heat and slowly add 1/2 cup of the milk and stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
In a blender place the remaining cup of milk, the room temperature chocolate mixture, and the ice. Blend on high speed until smooth and the consistency of a frozen daiquiri. Pour into a giant goblet and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy with a spoon or a straw… .or both!

It’s more interesting to have just a picture of a small detail - then you can dream all the rest around it. Because when you see the whole thing, what is there to imagine?

Things That Get Me Through Finals

    1. Trips to Starbuck’s to get that coffee to stay awake. Then taking 95917872817439 minutes to decide between my usual green tea frappuccino, hot green tea, or caramel frappuccino OR trying out one of the festive flavors. Ah decisions!

    2. Routine study breaks to watch tv and check the social media sites. These breaks always seem to last a lot longer than planned.

    3. Jamming out to my “Sleepyhead” station on Pandora…coupled with tunes from my Mozart station to feel the intelligent vibes seep through me.

    4. Mindlessly looking at online fashion blogs and clothing stores. Perhaps the future purchase of beautiful dress might inspire/motivate me to study well so I can reward my self.

    5. Studying. I guess that’s important. And hey, I got down to studying eventually. Oh wait, what am I doing on here then?

    Dear studying, here I come.
